Not a single reasonably sized pocket to stick a train schedule in. Pockets are both narrow and shallow. 3) Sliding shoulder pad is useless and odd looking. The belt is wide enough to be comfortable. Not that you can fit too much stuff in the bag for it to be heavy, either. 4) Rain proof? Not quite. The cover leaves half-inch gaps on each side, so if it really pours, you are going to have water in your bag. 5) There are massive velcro straps under the buckles, that take considerable force to undo. They render the outside buckles useless. Or the other way around. Velcro or buckles, not both. I cannot think of a single reason to have the buckles. They don't even look so great. To keep a subway thief out, maybe? No way -- the velcros make plenty noise to be heard through whatever you play on your ipod, impossible to open unnoticed. I'll keep it because I need a bag, but I feel I may regret this decision. No handle? C'mon!
